TubeLite is an iOS browser app for YouTube. This Privacy Policy explains how TubeLite handles information when you use the app.
Information We Collect
TubeLite stores the following data locally on your device:
- Browsing history
- Bookmarks
- App settings (such as ad blocking, tracker blocking, cookie blocking, and home page preferences)
TubeLite does not require an account and does not intentionally collect personal identity information.
Third-Party Services
When you use TubeLite, third-party services may process data according to their own policies:
- YouTube / Google — Pages and videos you visit are served by YouTube and Google. TubeLite is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.
- Google AdMob — TubeLite may display ads. AdMob may collect and use data as described in Google’s advertising policies.
- Firebase Analytics / Crashlytics — TubeLite uses Google Firebase to collect anonymous usage analytics (such as app launches and feature interactions) and crash reports (such as device model, OS version, and diagnostic data when the app crashes) to help improve stability and performance. Data is handled according to Google’s Firebase privacy policies.
Your Choices
You can clear browsing history from Settings. You can also adjust privacy-related toggles such as ad blocking, tracker blocking, and cookie blocking in the app.
Children’s Privacy
TubeLite is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of TubeLite after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
